2C2P’s footprint in Myanmar: The Land of Opportunity
Myanmar is becoming a fertile ground for growth, and investors and merchants are rushing to cash in on those opportunities. 2C2P has executed many initiatives in Myanmar, such as partnering with Myanmar Payment Union (MPU) to launch Myanmar's first electronic commerce payments platform for MPU card holders, and easyBills, the nation's first electronic bill payment solution. In addition, Myanmar Citizens Bank and 2C2P announced the release of Citizen Card, a reloadable prepaid card accepted by MasterCard merchants globally. 2C2P's business initiatives are aimed at driving financial inclusion, and helping develop the nascent financial services infrastructure in Myanmar.

“Myanmar is on course to boom. Within the last two years, the country has seen its first ATM, the first debit card and the first internationally accepted card. Building on this momentum, we are pleased to partner with 2C2P and launch MCB's very first prepaid card, which will help support growth in Myanmar e-commerce.” - Mr. U Myint Win, Managing Director of Myanmar Citizens Bank

“Myanmar is witnessing a period of explosive growth, fuelled by mobile and internet penetration. We are excited to work with 2C2P to tap into this growth, ushering in a new phase of Myanmar's electronic commerce. This will be key, not just for our citizens to transact online, but also to boost the economy, ensuring that we are on a more even footing with other regional markets.” - Mr. Zaw Lin Htut, CEO of Myanmar Payment Union (MPU).
