The role supports internal teams, ensures compliance with card scheme rules, and handles fee disputes. Job Description

Transaction Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile Card Schemes incoming transaction files with total transactions posted in the 2C2P’s Global Issuing Platform (GIP) and 2C2P’s Acquiring Platform (ACQ) to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Settlement Review & Adjustment:

  • Monitor and review unmatched settlement transactions in GIP and ACQ system. Decide and process adjustments by debit, credit, or chargeback in accordance with Card Scheme rules.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and record the Pre-Fund Settlement Transaction Balance Account Reconciliation Report for submission to Accounting & Finance.
  • Prepare and record Card Scheme Settlement Reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to Accounting & Finance.
  • Prepare and submit month-end reports such as Total Card Spending Report, Accumulated Fee Report, Top-Up Volume Report, etc.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly reports to Card Scheme in accordance with the requirements of each scheme.
  • Compile and submit Issuing and Acquiring Performance Reports for each Card Scheme to the Business Heads.

Fee Management:

  • Review Card Scheme fee invoices; investigate discrepancies.
  • Raise disputes or inquiries with Card Scheme if fees are incorrect.
  • Download and submit invoices to Accounting & Finance in a timely manner.
  • Dispute & chargeback handling: Act as the main contact point for cardholder disputed transactions; process chargebacks via Card Scheme systems according to compliance rules and timelines.

Stakeholder Support:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with card schemes to obtain clarifications and to coordinate the internal team for operations, system enhancements, and testing.
  • Compliance & audit support: Ensure all activities adhere to Card Scheme operational rules, applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, along with providing support for internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2–3 years’ experience in card operations, settlement, reconciliation, or payment processing.
  • Hands-on experience with Visa/MasterCard systems is highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding Visa, Mastercard, and other schemes’ certifications, regulations, and rules.
  • Deep understanding of issuing and acquiring operations, encompassing card lifecycle management, BIN management, tokenization, merchant onboarding, settlement, reconciliation, and chargebacks/disputes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in both Thai & English.
